Personally, I was most saddened by the passing of Gourmet magazine.  I know my wife (and many other photographers) have mixed emotions as the legendary Kodachrome leaves us but only to be replaced by exciting new digital formats and technologies.

Pontiac made the list, but, on a related note, what about the Pontiac Silverdome, whose exit with a sale price of $583,000 engendered some negative feelings in the greater Detroit area?
